Future Size
What size will you wear at your goal weight?
See the clothing size you'd likely wear at your goal weight — a motivating ballpark, not a fitting-room promise.
How this is calculated
Methodology & sources
- Waist projection (elasticity 0.7): LoseSize heuristic — unpublished, not peer-reviewed. Your waist tends to shrink a bit more slowly than your weight: a 10% drop in weight ≈ a 7% drop in waist. A home-grown rule of thumb; real results vary with genetics, training and where you carry weight.
- Healthy weight window (BMI 18.5–24.9): CDC — About BMI
- Safe rate 1–2 lb/week: CDC — Healthy Weight: Losing Weight
- Women's size chart: ASTM D5585 (adult female misses, sizes 0–20), composited with retailer charts
- Men's size chart: ASTM D6240 (men's standard sizes)
Privacy — how your data is handled
All math runs in your browser on your device. Nothing you type is sent to a server,

public data (food databases, weather) request only what they need to display.
📏 Practical toolkit tip — Self-Tightening Body Tape Measure (MyoTape style, ~$7)
Why it helps: Locks around your waist, hips, or neck with consistent spring tension so you don’t accidentally pull tighter from week to week.
Pro tip: Always measure on bare skin after a normal, relaxed exhale first thing in the morning.
