The short version

Every calculator on LoseSize does its math in your browser. Nothing you type into a tool is transmitted to us or anyone else. Saved results (like measurement history) are stored in your browser's local storage on your device, and you can clear them at any time from the tool itself.

What stays on your device

• All inputs and results of every calculator.
• Measurement history and streaks (browser local storage, never synced anywhere).
• Share cards you create — rendered on your device and handed directly to your phone's share sheet or downloads.

Third-party requests some tools make

• Open Food Facts (food search / barcode scans) — receives your search term or the barcode number, nothing else. Their privacy policy.
• Open-Meteo (outdoor training weather) — receives your approximate location coordinates. Their terms.
• wger (exercise database) — receives exercise category requests only, no personal data.

These requests come from your browser directly to those services. We never see them.

What we collect

Server-side, we may receive standard, aggregate technical logs (pages requested, user agent, error rates) via our hosting provider for security and uptime. We do not run accounts, we do not sell data, and we do not fingerprint visitors across sessions.

Cookies & local storage

We set no advertising or analytics cookies. Local storage keys under the losesize: prefix hold your saved results only, on your device, and can be cleared from any tracker tool or your browser settings.
